Tara Nicole Weyr grew up in Manhattan and spent most of her free time either in museums or finding ways to watch TV. She studied painting and art history at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. After school she stumbled into the film business while dressing mannequins in NYC. She started as a P.A., working her way up to the First Assistant Director position, and then made the transition to directing. She has directed shows as varied as Desperate Housewives and The Night Shift. She lives in Venice.
